According to the channel, the citizenship of the alleged terrorist was given by supporters of IG, detained during raids in Turkey cities from December 28 to 31. The Turkish police announced the detention of 63 people, including suicide bombers who prepared terrorist attacks in Ankara, Antalya, other cities, as well as at Istanbul airport.

Some visitors to the club in a panic jumped to Bosphorus, trying to escape. After the attack, he changed clothes and left the club, throwing weapons there. It was originally reported that the attacker was in Santa Claus's costume, but later the police refuted this.
On Monday afternoon, Turkish media reported that the security forces detained eight people, probably involved in the Reina club. Detailed information about the detainees is not yet given.
As a result of the attack , 39 people died and 69 were injured. Three of them are still in critical condition.
Among the dead are 16 foreigners, including a Russian citizen.
