Russian officer found dead in Yerevan
The body of a Russian serviceman, Deputy Chief of Staff of one of the military units located at a military base in Armenia, Major Viktor Emelianenko, was found in Yerevan.
A 45-year-old military man was found dead in the Druzhba Hotel. According to preliminary data, no traces of violence were found on the body of Emelianenko.
As suggested by the press service of the Southern Military District, the cause of death could be heart failure. The Russian command, together with the Armenian police, is investigating the incident.
