Trump considered a “strange” transfer of briefing about Russian hackers

The elected American President Donald Trump announced the transfer of the special services report on the “interference” of Russian hackers in the elections in the United States. He wrote about this on his Twitter.

“Perhaps it takes more time to prepare the case. This is strange! ”He said.

The meeting of the president with intelligence representatives was to take place on January 3 or 4, the Reuters agency notes. Now the briefing is postponed to January 6th.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Security of the United States and the FBI published a report “On the malicious cyberism of Russia”. The document states that Russian hackers made two attacks on the Democratic Party in the summer of 2015 and in the spring of 2016. Trump doubted the conviction of evidence presented by intelligence. Its representative also noted that the future president is waiting for the “final report”.

On December 29, the United States imposed sanctions against Russia due to the alleged intervention in the elections using hacker attacks. The list included six people and five organizations, including GRU and the FSB. 35 Russian diplomats were also expelled from the country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was proposed to send several American representatives from Moscow and St. Petersburg, but Russian President Vladimir Putin rejected this idea. Trump called the decision of the Russian leader "Great Step."
