A terrorist attack took place in the city of Jabla in the Syrian province of Latakia, as a result of which at least nine people were killed. The bomb was planted in a car.
According to the Associated Press, the attack was the first such incident since the announcement of a truce between the armed opposition and the Syrian authorities in late December 2016. So far, none of the armed groups has claimed responsibility for the attack.
