Dadin was not found in the colony of the Altai Territory

On January 6, human rights activists from the Public Monitoring Commission (POC) visited IK-5 in the Altai Territory, where Ildar Dadin was supposed to be. However, they found him there. Anastasia Zotova, wife of the political prisoner, wrote about this on her Facebook page.

Earlier it was reported that Ildar Dadin has been in IK-5 of the Altai Territory in a cell-type room (PKT) since the end of December.

Valery Maksimenko, deputy head of the Federal Penitentiary Service, told Anastasia Zotova on January 4 that Dadin was "on his way now." On the way where exactly, Maksimenko did not specify then.

The Territory of Torture website published a recording of a fragment of a telephone conversation between Zotova and Maksimenko. The deputy head of the Federal Penitentiary Service claims that Dadin “was on his way to the place of his new serving”, “he did not have time before the New Year, he was taken off the train in a big city so that he would not celebrate the New Year on the train, they were taken to a pre-trial detention center, there [he] received shower, they gave me hot food, don’t dry out, and here he was, for three days, sitting in this pre-trial detention center, ”and “at the moment he continues to move on the train.” Maksimenko suggested that within two days, that is, apparently, no later than January 6, Dadin "will already be in place."

Russian human rights ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova announced on the afternoon of December 5 that Ildar Dadin would arrive at his new place of serving his sentence on January 9-10. “He was on the way (to another colony), but, as the Federal Penitentiary Service informed me, on December 29 the stage was interrupted so that the convicts could wash themselves, there is no such possibility on the train. And instead of dry rations, they were provided with a festive dinner, as far as possible (in places of deprivation of liberty). They were given fruit,” the commissioner informed.

Dadin was taken away from a colony in Karelia, where he complained of torture, on December 2. On December 13, Zotova received his letter, from which it followed that he was being transported through the Vologda Oblast. After that, she had no more news from him.
