Activist and artist Alexei Knedlyakovsky, arrested for 15 days for installing a wooden cross on the Bust of Dzerzhinsky in Krasnodar on the day of state security workers, was released. This was written on Twitter by his wife Lusine Dzhanyan.
On December 23, the Leninsky District Court of Krasnodar found Kndlyakovsky guilty under article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (petty hooliganism). On December 25, the same court sentenced to 15 days the administrative arrest of another Krasnodar activist - Viktor Chirikov. According to the judge, Chirikov participated in the action with Knedlyakovsky.
Both Chirikov and Kndlyakovsky declared poor conditions in the special reception of No. 1 of Krasnodar, both held a hunger strike. Chirikov should be released on January 9.
