Apple and Google corporations blocked access to the LinkedIn social network application in their online stores for mobile devices at the request of the Russian authorities.
Apple received a request to block the application in Russia a month ago. According to The New York Times, technological giants will not be able to completely limit access to the social network, however, the decision on blocking indicates the pressure of the Russian authorities to international corporations.
LinkedIn is a social network for the search for work and establishing business contacts. In November last year, Roskomnadzor demanded to limit access to LinkedIn due to violation of the law, according to which personal data of Russian citizens cannot be abroad.
