
The Finnish HMD Global officially introduced the first Nokia smartphone based on the Android operating system.
This was reported on the website of the HMD Global, which became the owner of the Nokia brand in 2016. Nokia 6 will be released in the first quarter of 2017, it will be sold only in China through the JD.com retailer.
“China is the largest and competitive smartphone market in the world. The cost of a smartphone will be 1,699 yuan ($ 246). The volume of the internal memory of the phone is 64 gigabytes, the RAM - 4 gigabytes.
The size of the smartphone screen is 5.5 inches with Full HD resolution. As noted in the HMD Global, the Nokia 6 screen is made of Gorilla Glass (glass glass).
The smartphone is equipped with two cameras: the rear 16 megapixels and the front 8 megapixels, the device operates on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor.
Microsoft, which owned Nokia since 2013, sold this HMD Global brand in May last year. Nokia said that in cooperation with the company it would resume the release of phones and tablets under its name.
In December, HMD Global introduced two button phones: Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 with two SIM cards at a price of $ 26 each.
