The Ministry of Health proposes to allow employers to increase the working day of employees in proportion to the time spent on smoking tobacco. This proposal is in the "anti -tobacco concept" of the Ministry of Health for 2017–2022, RNS reports .
From the text of the concept:
“The employer’s ability to increase the working hours of the employee in proportion to the time spent by him on smoking tobacco during the working day.”
The document also proposes to introduce a tax of 10 % of the price of goods for retail sale of ordinary and electronic cigarettes. According to the department, the increase in prices for cigarettes and tobacco products will reduce the number of smokers in the country.
In addition, the “anti -tobacco concept” provides for a ban on the sale of tobacco to people born in 2015 and later after they reached adulthood.
