
The Bank of Russia reduced the courses of the main world currencies. On January 10, the dollar will cost 59.89 rubles, which is 76 kopecks less than the day earlier. At the same time, the euro fell by 69 kopecks and will be 63.11 rubles.
The official value of the dollar, therefore, per day fell by 1.27%, and the euro - by 1.11%.
The ruble rate has been strengthened since the beginning of 2017. On January 5, the dollar exchange rate for the first time since mid -2015 fell below 60 rubles and amounted to 59.8 rubles, and the euro rate decreased to 63.29 rubles.
The basis for strengthening the ruble was an increase in oil prices. Earlier, the cost of a barrel of Brent exceeded $ 58 for the first time in a year. This happens against the background of the fact that countries in accordance with the OPEC agreement began to reduce the level of oil production.
