The Tverskoy Court of Moscow arrested until March 6 Omar Omarov and Islam Murtazaliev, suspected of shooting from a machine gun in Moscow on New Year's holidays. They are on trial for hooliganism, initiated after the publication of a video of the incident on the Internet.
At the meeting, Omar Omarov stated that he did not consider himself a criminal and was not going to hide from the investigation.
Islam Murtalaziyev, in turn, stated that he “did not commit any crime,” but “only filmed it,” RAPSI reports. During the meeting, it turned out that he had previously been convicted and sentenced to a suspended sentence.
It follows from the materials of the case that the machine gun from which the shots were fired belongs to a decommissioned factory-made firearm intended for educational and collection purposes. According to the defender of Omarov, this machine is a dummy.
