System integrator NVision Group, owned by PJSC Mobile Telesystems (MTS), has ceased operations in Kazakhstan, as follows from the list of MTS affiliates.

MTS does not see the feasibility of developing a business in this country, operator representative Dmitry Solodovnikov told Interfax, clarifying that NVision Kazakhstan LLP has been sold. He did not name the buyer or the transaction amount.

Currently, NVision, in addition to Russia, operates in three more countries - Belarus, Ukraine and the Czech Republic. The subsidiary in Kazakhstan was registered in 2009.

MTS bought NVision in December 2015 for 15 billion rubles. taking into account the debt from its main shareholder AFK Sistema . It was planned to allocate about 10 billion rubles to pay off the debts of the integrator, the sellers of the asset - the subsidiaries of AFK LLC Sistema Telecom Assets and OJSC RTI - were supposed to receive within 5 billion rubles. In the summer of 2015, the first stage of the deal was closed - the purchase of a number of companies from NVision Group, including ZAO Sitronics Telecom Solutions and NVision Czech Republic.

According to the SPARK-Interfax database, NVision’s revenue at the end of 2015 decreased by 36.8% year-on-year, to RUB 9 billion. Net loss increased to RUB 2.1 billion. from 1.6 billion in 2014. MTS’s revenue from system integration services in the third quarter increased 4.4 times year-on-year, to 1.1 billion rubles, due to the acquisition of NVision Group, the operator previously reported.
