“On December 14, 2016, the Basmanny Court seized the money and coins from precious metals of the accused A. V. Ulyukaev in the total amount of about 500 million rubles,” Tsareva said.
Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the ICR Igor Krasnov, in an interview with the Kommersant newspaper, said that in the case of the former Minister of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukaev, the court arrested more than 560 million rubles. and 15 properties.
Earlier, on January 10, the Basmanny Court of Moscow extended the investigation into the case until April 15 and left Alexei Ulyukaev under house arrest.
Aleksey Ulyukaev was detained by the FSB on November 14 last year at the office of Rosneft, where, according to investigators, he received two cases containing $2 million for approving a deal to sell Rosneft a stake in Bashneft. He was charged with taking a bribe on an especially large scale (Article 290 of the Criminal Code).
