The court arrested the accounts of Alexey Ulyukaev

The Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested one million dollars and 280 million rubles in the bank accounts of the former Minister of Economic Development of Russia Alexei Ulyukaev, accused of taking a bribe. This was announced by the press secretary of the court Yunona Tsareva, reports . RIA Novosti

In addition, gold coins belonging to the ex-minister, each of which costs from 13 thousand to more than 6 million rubles, fell under arrest.

Tsareva clarified that the seizure of accounts and coins was imposed on December 14.

Earlier on Wednesday, Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Igor Krasnov told Kommersant that the department had arrested 15 real estate objects and funds belonging to Ulyukaev for a total of 564 million rubles.

Recall that two weeks after the detention of Ulyukaev, the Basmanny Court seized ten land plots belonging to him and a residential building in the Smolensk region.

The day before, the investigation period in the case of Ulyukaev was extended until May 15, and the ex-minister himself was extended house arrest until April 15.

Aleksey Ulyukaev was detained on the night of November 15. He is accused of taking a bribe on an especially large scale with extortion.
