Already his debut record, “Whiskey” (1996), on which the trip-hop compositions with jazz elements were recorded, aroused great interest among critics and students.
Since then , Jai Johanson has recorded nine studio albums. The last of them, the Opium , produced by the founder of CoCteau Twins Robin Gatrine and the German electronic duet Funkstörung , was released in the summer in 2015.
The musician successfully tours around the world, has come to Russia many times.
