The first films of the Berlinale competitive program were announced

Films created by filmmakers from Brazil, Germany, Spain, South Korea and Japan were included in the competitive program of the 67th Berlin International Film Festival, which will be held from February 9 to 19.

The preliminary list of participants in the competitive program is published on the Berlinal website , there are no Russian films among them:

• “At night on the beach alone” (Bamui HaEbyun-Eoseo Honja / on the Beach at Night Alone, South Korea), dir. Hon San-Su;
• "Bar" (el bar / the bar, Spain), dir. Alex de la Iglesia;
• "Clear Nights" (Helle nächte / Bright Nights, Germany-Norwegia), dir. Thomas Arslan;
• "Joachim" (Joaquim, Brazil-Portugal), dir. Marcelo Gomez;
• “Mr. Long” (Mr. Long, Japan-Germania-Kong Kong-China-Twin), dir. Saba (Hiroyuki Tanaka);
• “Return to Montok” (Return To Montauk / Rückkehr Nach Montauk, Germany-France-Irland), dir. Schlendorf folker.
