Moscow hopes that Russian President Vladimir Putin and the elected US President Donald Trump are putting together. As TASS reports , Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated this.

"Indeed, in Moscow they hope that our presidents are putting," Peskov said.

He reminded Trump's words of readiness for dialogue with Moscow. “This does not mean that this willingness to agree on everything with each other, it is unlikely that this is possible,” Peskov remarked. “This is not expected in Moscow. But conducting a dialogue is what you should hope for, and that will help us look for a way out of many difficult situations.”

According to Peskov, the Kremlin believes that there should be much more mutual respect between Russia and the USA than now.

“President Putin with his actions and in his statements clearly and unequivocally demonstrates the readiness to respect our partners,” the official said. “But this respect can only be mutual. It cannot be one -way.”

The day before, speaking at a press conference in New York, Trump assured that he had no relationship with Russia and does not owe it to her. The elected president was asked if he agreed that Vladimir Putin tried to help him win the race. “If Putin like Donald Trump, I consider it as my capital, and not as a debt obligation,” Trump answered.

In September 2016, Trump, speaking at the forum of veterans, promised that in case of victory in the election he would have a “very, very good relationship” with Putin and Russia. Speaking of the Russian president, Trump recalled that the approval rating is 82 percent. “I think, since he called me brilliant, I will accept this compliment, okay?
