Remains of Elizaveta Glinka identified

The remains of the head of the Fair Aid Foundation, Elizaveta Glinka (Dr. Liza), who died in a Tu-154 crash in the Black Sea on December 25, were identified using DNA testing. This was reported to TASS by a source close to her.

The funeral of Glinka, according to the interlocutor of the agency, will be held on January 16 at the Novodevichy cemetery.

• The head of the Fair Aid Foundation, a member of the Human Rights Council under the President of the Russian Federation, Elizaveta Glinka (Dr. Liza), was on board the Tu-154 aircraft of the Russian Defense Ministry, which crashed on the morning of December 25 in the Black Sea. None of those on board survived.
• Tu-154 flew to Syria. On board were the artists of the Alexandrov Ensemble, who were going to perform in front of the Russian military with a New Year's concert. Glinka accompanied medicines for a hospital in Latakia.
