Amazon has announced plans to create 100,000 new jobs in the US by mid-2018.
It is, in particular, about vacancies in new centers of fulfillment of orders, which the company plans to open in many states.
The company now has more than 180,000 employees, Amazon said. 150 thousand jobs have been created since 2011.
A spokesman for US President-elect Donald Trump told reporters that he "played a role in Amazon's decision." The announcement came after Trump urged technology executives to "keep jobs and production" in the US, he said.
