The mother of the murdered girl demanded to know the whereabouts of nanny Bobokulova

Moscow resident Ekaterina Meshcheryakova, whose four-year-old daughter was killed by nanny Gulchehra Bobokulova in February last year, sent an appeal to the Moscow prosecutor's office with a request to disclose information about the whereabouts of the convicted person, writes RBC.

In her appeal, Meshcheryakova asks the prosecutor's office to check the conclusion of specialists from the Serbsky Center, who declared Bobokulova insane - for this reason, the nanny was sent for compulsory psychiatric treatment. The girl’s mother also asks the prosecutor’s office to seek a review of the court’s decision.

“I was denied the right to receive information about Bobokulova, about the execution of the sentence, while Bobokulova could be sent home for treatment. My family will not be able to feel safe if Bobokulova could one day, having arrived from Uzbekistan in Moscow, meet me or my child at the entrance, since during the investigation she testified that she had intentions to kill the whole family,” says the text of the appeal. Meshcheryakova considers “the release of Bobokulova from criminal liability illegal and unfair.”

In a conversation with RBC, Meshcheryakova said that Bobokulova lived with their family for about two years, and all this time she behaved adequately and did not take any medications. The mother of the murdered girl added that the nanny changed a lot after her trip to her homeland a month before the attack: she began to actively correspond with someone on the Odnoklassniki social network, began to follow news from the fronts in Syria and Iraq, where a terrorist group is waging an armed struggle “Islamic State,” she asked Meshcheryakova about the terrorist group Al-Qaeda.

On the morning of February 29 last year, a fire broke out in an apartment on Narodnogo Opolcheniya Street in Moscow, after which the body of a four-year-old girl was found without a head. Gulchehra Bobokulova, dressed in black, brought the girl’s head to the Oktyabrskoye Pole metro station, where she shouted “Allahu Akbar!” and threatened to explode. In November, the Khoroshevsky District Court of Moscow released Bobokulova from criminal liability and ordered her to be sent for compulsory treatment.
