The colony administration withdrew the proposal to transfer Stomakhin to prison

Consideration of the issue of transferring Boris Stomakhin, convicted for publicly justifying the terrorist attacks in Volgograd, to a prison regime has been terminated, as the administration of the correctional colony withdrew its submission from the court. This was reported on January 13 by the "Caucasian Knot".

The meeting was held in the Chusovoy City Court of the Perm Territory. According to Roman Kachanov, Stomakhin's lawyer, the defense pointed out to the court that the submission on the re-regime was signed by an improper official: during the period the submission was made, the acting head of the colony was already another person, not the one who signed the document itself.

“In this regard, today the representatives of the colony withdrew their submission for the second time, and the court terminated the proceedings on this material. But the law does not deprive them of the right to submit such a presentation again. Since August last year, the colony has not been able to transfer Boris to a prison regime, ”the publication quotes Kachanov as saying.

There were no journalists or supporters of Stomakhin at the trial. The prisoner himself was present at the trial via a conference call from the colony.

“He said that he does not recognize the court, he will not “participate in this performance.” He refused to even introduce himself, the court asked me to verify his identity. In fact, Boris practically did not participate in the process, ”said the lawyer.
