
Most Russians believe that they are afraid in the Russian world, and are sure that this is good. Such data based on the results of a sociological survey are given by the Public Opinion Foundation, Interfax reports.
85 percent of the Russians surveyed by the Federal Antimonopoly Service said they were afraid of Russia in the world. Three quarters are sure that this is good. At the same time, 48 percent of the survey participants expressed the opinion that they are good in Russia in the world, 42 adhere to the opposite point of view.
More than two thirds of respondents are also sure that Russia's influence has been growing in recent years. They associate this with an increase in military power (14 percent), correct foreign policy (11), the merit of the president (7). 19 percent took away that the role of Russia in the world is reduced.
35 percent see an improvement in relation to Russia in the world, 31 - deterioration, a quarter of the respondents counted that it remains unchanged. Meanwhile, every second believes that the attitude to Russia in the world as a whole is biased. 36 percent does not think so.
58 percent of Russians stated that they live in a rich country, but a third of those respondents did not agree with them. 65 respondents consider Russia a developed and advanced state.
70 percent of the survey participants called Russia a free country. 22 percent of the opposite opinion are of the opposite opinion.
The survey was conducted on December 24-25 among 1,500 respondents in 104 settlements.
