
Turkey has completed the construction of the wall along the border with Syria and Iraq, Anadolu reports .
In 2016, 330 kilometers were built, the wall was erected for the safety of border areas. At a 191 kilometer piece, barbed wire fences were built.
As notes Anadola, over the past year, 57 thousand attempts to illegally cross the state border have been prevented.
Most of these attempts were made on the Syrian-Turkish border, 424 thousand people were detained. Most violators are Syrians, the agency clarifies.
