Goya and Dali ”, which will present work from the series of“ Caprichos ”engravings Francisco Goya from the Museum’s collection and“ Caprichos Goya ”Salvador Dali from the collection of Boris Friedman.
The exposition will include 41 engines of Goya and 41 engravings of Dali, each pair of sheets will be accompanied by a commentary to Goya.
“Thus, the exposition is a literary text (Goya comments) and illustrations for it (Goya's etchings and Dali). This design of the exposition will allow the viewer to better understand what was done by artists, to feel the modern sound of a work of art created more than two hundred years ago and continued in the twentieth century, ” the YMIA website reports.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a lecture program, in which leading foreign experts are invited to participate: an employee of the painting department of the Prado Museum (Madrid), professor at the History of the History of Art of the University of Madrid, Virkhinia Albarran Martin, the author of several publications on printing techniques Nicole Rigal, who printed seven publications Livre d'Artiste Salvadora Dali and was well acquainted with him, the Spanish writer and philosopher, professor Ignacio Gomez de Liano, who was closely friends with Dali, the author of the book of memoirs of the artist.
The opening of a separate publication “Caprichos. Goya. Dali ”, the presentation of which will take place during the days of the exhibition.
Tickets for the exhibition are not sold separately - it will be possible to get on it according to the input ticket to the main building of the museum.
Exhibition "Caprichos". Goya and Dali ”in the MiCH will last until March 12.
