Teachers and students object to the decision of the Ministry of Health of Dagestan, who appointed The director of the school Makhachkalinka Patimatzakhr Gadzhieva, a former doctor of a female consultation. Teachers claim that Gadzhieva bought an appointment for 40 million rubles.

The current director of the school Abdula Huseynov, who has worked there 30 years, has been on sick leave since September last year. Since then, his duties have been performed by the deputy director of Haji Dzhabrailov. Both teachers enjoy the trust of colleagues. Teachers insist that Huseynov still lead the school, and if officials want to notice the sick director, then Dzhabrailov would be put in his place.

Meanwhile, on January 13, teachers were informed of the appointment of Gadzhieva. “Nobody asked us about anything, he did not consult, no one counted with our opinion. We do not want this woman to lead us, who has no experience in pedagogical activity. We said that we do not agree with her appointment,” said the teacher Umukusum Akhmedova.

Seeing that their opinion was ignored, teachers did not allow Gadzhiev to the building. “Then,” continued Akhmedova, “she came accompanied by her guard, rude to us. She said that we were no one, that there is no team here, that we are not solving anything.”

“So we decided to show what the team is actually we have,” the teacher concluded.

Teachers were supported by students. On Monday morning, they arranged a rally at the school building. More than 500 people took part in the action.

The protests at the school on Friday attracted the attention of the police. On Monday, the police and armored vehicles were sent to the police from the capital of the region. From 7 a.m., the school territory was numb, and Lenin Street, on which the institution was located, was blocked for the whole day.

Students at first did not allow the security forces to the building, and then did not let out from there.

The detention of protesters and the application of violence to them nevertheless is not reported.

Gadzhieva entered the building, accompanied by police officers; Her students boasted her. Then Gadzhiev and her accompanying were closed in the office of the deputy director, while teachers remained in the assembly hall, and students in the corridors. The educational process was ripped off.

Students assured that they would continue to speak out against Gadzhieva. Meanwhile, teachers did not exclude that they are barricaded in the building and declare a hunger strike. “If this is a chair (director. - Ed.)
