Russia sank into 14 lines in the ranking of the most innovative economies

Russia sank into 14 lines in the ranking of countries with the most innovative Bloomberg Innovation Index economy, taking 26th place in it. South Korea retained the first place in the list , the second was taken by Sweden, the third - in Germany.

The top ten countries with the most innovative economy also included Switzerland, Finland, Singapore, Japan, Denmark, the USA and Israel. When compiling the rating, the agency took into account expenses for scientific research and development, as well as the number of public high -tech companies in the country.

According to Bloomberg, South Korea leads the rating thanks to the largest among the countries that appear in the study of countries the specific expenses for scientific research and development, patent activity, production with added value and level of higher education.

Russia in the ranking sank stronger than any other country. Bloomberg explains such a fall in sanctions against Moscow and the consequences of falling energy prices.

In September 2016, Russia took the last , 55th place in the annual ranking of healthcare efficiency compiled by Bloomberg. Experts considered only countries, the expectation of life in which exceeds 70 years. For this reason, Russia first entered the rating only in 2014, when this indicator was 70.5 years in the country.

The first place in the ranking was taken by Hong Kong. Following is Singapore. Further in the first ten, Spain, South Korea, Japan, Italy, Israel, Chile, the United Arab Emirates and Australia followed in descending.
