The head of the Ministry of Labor promised the Russians an increase in salaries in 2017

In 2017, Russians expect salaries. This was in an interview with Rossiy Gazeta by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection Maxim Topilin.

"The wages, according to our estimates, will increase. Not only nominal, but also real. According to the results of 2016, we will most likely see the growth of real salaries, because since August there has been a positive tendency to increase them," Topilin said.

The minister added that salaries will be affected by "the implementation of the presidential decrees on increasing wages in the budget sector."

"Of course, the presidential decrees to increase wages to the main categories of employees of the budget sphere will be completed. All the necessary resources are provided for this. The relevant work is carried out with the regional executive bodies," Topilin said.

At the same time, according to the minister, unemployment in Russia is not expected. “Most likely it will hesitate within the framework of the 2016 indicators. At least for today there are no prerequisites for a sharp change in the situation,” Topilin emphasized.

Speaking about pensions, the minister noted that this year it is planned to “put an end” on the question of whether its funded part will be voluntary or mandatory. “The Ministry of Finance believes that this should be an obligatory element. And we believe that they are voluntary, since people are not very high, and they do not grow so quickly that it is possible to easily remove their part and send them by virtue of the law, and not the choice of a citizen to the funded component,” Topilin said.

"Colleagues offer all Russians to automatically sign on the payment of these contributions, but with the right to refuse, through a special statement. We are convinced that a person must write a statement in order to enter the system and not get out of it. The main essence of disagreements. We hope that in 2017 a point will be put in the dispute," Topilin emphasized.

In early December 2016, the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes proposed reducing the growth rate of wages to a doctor in the regions. The growth rate of salaries was proposed to reduce almost half - from 10.6 percent to 5.4 percent. The ministry explained that the regions will experience difficulties in financing the current growth rate of salaries, since co -financing funds were not laid down in regional budgets on such a scale.

Later, the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the government has not yet a common decision regarding a decrease in the growth rate of salaries of doctors.
