In the Saratov colony in the morning of January 17, 70-year-old Tagir Khasanov died, sentenced to 5 years of 1 month of the general regime in the fabricated case of terrorism. Thiswas announced on his FB page by the lawyer of the political prisoner Marat Ashimov.
On January 10, it became known that the paralyzed Khasanov was sent to the stage from the Nizhny Novgorod pre-trial detention center-1 on a stretcher . Journalist Irina Slavina wrote then that in addition to other serious diseases that were reported earlier, Khasanov diagnosed cancer with bone metastases.
The 5th day with the Politzeck met the deputy chairman of the Committee on the Prevention of Torture Olga Sadovskaya. “I asked if there are complaints if he wanted to seek help,” she said. “He answered me that he did not want to handle, thank you very much, everything is fine.” At the same time, the deputy chairman of the KPPP added: "I got the impression that he was just going to die and he no longer needs anything." Sadovskaya expressed doubts that Khasanov would survive the stage.
Tatar Khasanov was an authoritative member of the Islamic community of Nizhny Novgorod. He performed Hajj twice in Mecca, assisted in the arrangement of mosques, and helped those in need. Was the initiator of the construction of a new mosque in the city.
Khasanov came to the view of the FSB, due to the fact that in 2014 he rented part of his apartment to a resident of Ingushetia Baghdan Umarov, who was subsequently put on the international wanted list on the Syrian war on the side of the Islamic State. The special service stated that Umarov went to Syria precisely under the influence of Khasanov. The lawyer of Politzek Marat Ashimov, however, pointed out that at the moment when Umarov went to Syria, his brother Bashir Umarov had already fought there.
Around the end of February 2016, the police detained Khasanov and his tenants from Uzbekistan under the pretext of verifying compliance with visa laws and delivered to OP Kanavinsky. There, however, the detainees asked questions about Umarov.
Two weeks later, March 11, Khasanov was detained after the search. The security forces claimed that during the search they discovered five rounds in the apartment, and the examination then stated that Khasanov was supposedly on these cartridges.
Nizhny Novgorod was placed in a pre -trial detention center. He was charged with part 1 of article 205.1 (assistance to terrorism) and part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code (illegal storage of ammunition). At the same time, Ashimov pointed out a lot of inconsistencies and contradictions in the case. He also emphasized that there is not a single certificate of Khasanov’s connection with terrorists, and the charge is built exclusively on the testimony of persons, one way or another, depending on the investigation.
At the time of the arrest, Khasanov was not paralyzed, but already suffered a number of serious diseases, including coronary heart disease, diabetes and kidney disease. He had a disability of group III. In May, Politzek suffered another heart attack, and later he found tuberculosis.
The trial of the Khasanov began on July 20. The case was considered by the board of the Moscow District Military Court at the away session at the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court. The defendant did not admit guilt, saying that he had no connections with terrorists, and the cartridges were thrown back to him.
The prosecution was based on the testimonies of the tenants of Khasanov, as well as the evidence of the provocateur named artists.
On July 26, the prosecutor Alexei Ezersky requested seven years of general regime for Khasanov. The next day he was convicted by five and a half years .
As the lawyer Ashimov said, if before the sentence, the FSINOVS provided medical assistance to Politzek "as their possibilities", then later they stopped treating the political collection.
On October 16, Khasanov paralyzed the legs . The patient was brought to a meeting with a lawyer scheduled for another day. Further, the pathological process continued, and by the 22nd the number of Politsek was almost completely paralyzed. The daughter of Khasanova tried to find out from the doctor of the pre -trial detention center why the patient was not treated. The Fsinovets replied that the convict was actually healthy, and the lawyer was lying.
On December 1, the collegium of the Supreme Court as part of Alexander Voronov, Sergey Sokkerin and Oleg Derbilov, having examined the Khasanov appeal, reduced his term by five months . Most of the defense petitions rejected the judges, agreeing to introduce only a certificate of health of the convicted person to the case.
Meanwhile, lawyers Ashimov and Vadim Zhukovsky found three former residents of Khasanov, citizens of Uzbekistan. They said that they were beaten by the police, and then they forced them to sign the testimony. The text of the testimony was not clear to foreigners, but the translator assured them that "everything is fine." In fact, the residents said, they almost did not communicate with the owner, because they came to the apartment only to spend the night.
Lawyers asked to introduce these polls to the case, as well as interrogate the former residents of Hasanov, at that time already deported, by video communication. However, the judges rejected these petitions, like a number of others.
The military prosecutor Matskevich, at the examination of the appeal, noticed one of the activists of the Politzec support group: "What are you worried! Act - you have to wait."
