The Moscow City Court confirmed Buchenkov's detention

The Moscow City Court refused to satisfy Dmitry Buchenkov's defense complaints about the extension of his detention, said his lawyer Svetlana Sidorkina. Buchenkov will remain in the pre-trial detention center until March 6, 2017. On November 28, 2016, the Moscow City Court granted the investigation’s request to extend Dmitry Buchenkov, accused in the Bolotnaya case, a preventive measure in the form of detention until March 6, 2017. The investigation period was then extended until May 10, 2017. Buchenkov denies not only that he committed illegal actions, but even his presence on May 6, 2012 on Bolotnaya Square.
