In Rostov-on-Don, a clergyman provoked an accident involving nine cars, there were injuries, the Rostov.ru portal reports .
According to preliminary police data, the 25-year-old driver of a Mitsubishi ASX crossover collided with a VAZ-21099 traveling in the same direction, after which both cars crashed into seven cars parked near the roadway. As a result, two passengers in the Mitsubishi were injured - a woman and an eight-year-old boy. They were taken to the hospital.
The driver of the foreign car turned out to be a priest and was intoxicated. Metropolitan Mercury of Rostov and Novocherkassk banned him from serving. At the same time, he noted that the priest of the Church of the Great Martyr George the Victorious was in good standing and loved by the parishioners. “This is not a typical case for him at all; he practically didn’t drink,” explained Petrovsky.
Later, the priest who caused the mass accident complained of partial memory loss. According to him, he only came to his senses in the hospital and is now experiencing severe pain.

A 35-year-old man rammed two cars in December 2015 and then killed a 53-year-old woman who was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing. A woman in one of the damaged cars was also injured.
