The Election Commission of the Moscow Region initiated the resignation of the head of the territorial election commission of the city of Mytishchi, Valery Konyagin, who had previously decided to resign. According to the head of the Moscow Regional Electoral Committee, Konyagin's resignation is not a consequence of the publication of Novaya Gazeta about massive election violations in Mytishchi.
