Two people suspected of involvement in Tablighi Jamaat were detained in Kazan

Two people were detained in Kazan, suspected of involvement in the Tablighi Jamaat religious movement, which was recognized as an extremist organization despite the absence of calls for violence.

According to information received by the Izvestia newspaper, which for some reason calls this organization a terrorist organization, from the press service of the republican UFSB, the arrest took place on January 18 as part of a criminal case opened in Moscow. In this case on organizing the activities of an extremist organization, seven people were arrested in December - citizens of Kyrgyzstan Gazybek (according to other sources, Satybek) Kubatov, Kanybek Suyundukov (or Suyunduk) and Aslambek Kamchytbekov (or Islambek Kamchibekov), Russian citizens Shakir Kazhamkulov (or Kozhamkulov ) and Akhmet (or Akhmed) Dzhumaev, Kazakh citizen Beksat Bakirov and another person, whose name was not released.
