On January 19, the Verkh-Isetsky Court of Yekaterinburg extended the detention of blogger Ruslan Sokolovsky, who caught Pokemon in the temple, for 20 days, until February 22 inclusive. This was announced by the lawyer Sokolovsky Alexei Bushmakov.
Also today it turned out that in the end, Sokolovsky is nevertheless imputed , in addition to Articles 282 of Part 1 (inciting hatred against a group of people on religious grounds) and 148 of Part 2 (insulting the feelings of believers), Article 138.1 - illegal circulation of special technical means intended for secretly obtaining information , due to a pen with a video camera found at the blogger's house during the usual.
At the same time, according to the lawyer, the chairman of the expert council for conducting religious studies examinations at the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Justice for the Sverdlovsk Region, specialist of the Department of Religious Studies of the Department of Philosophy of the Institute for the Humanities and Arts of the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B. N. Yeltsin, professor, Evgenia Ivanova, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, did not find any signs of insult, humiliation, excitation and incitement of hostility between groups of people as a result of studying the video materials and electronic magazines incriminated to Sokolovsky.
“According to this conclusion, in all materials, except for one video and the magazine, there is a religious theme. In all materials, there are no signs of propaganda of religious superiority or religious exclusivity. The studied informational materials do not contain any hateful ideology, plan or program of action, calls for actions that incite enmity and discord, justification or substantiation of such actions. According to experts, Sokolovsky did not commit public actions expressing clear disrespect for society and committed in order to insult the religious feelings of believers, ”said Bushmakov. However, the court did not take into account the evidence of the defense and granted the investigators' request for an extension of the measure of restraint.
