On January 9, the publication reported that the authorities of St. Petersburg without a competition signed a contract with Metrostroy, the contractor of the construction of Zenit-Arena for the completion of the stadium, the amount of which amounted to 2 billion rubles. This money will go to the arrangement of the stadium access control zone and its preparation for the 2018 World Cup.
Earlier, on December 20, the authorities of St. Petersburg concluded a contract for 1 billion rubles for the completion of the stadium with Metrostroem.
