
The Russian government plans to reduce the minimum amount of state -owned payments to 25% of the net profit in IFRS. It is reported by Bloomberg with reference to two officials familiar with the situation.
At the same time, the government is going to continue to achieve higher dividends from a number of companies, one of the interlocutors of the agency said. He did not specify the names of the companies.
The government has achieved an increase in the deductions of state -owned companies for dividends from 25% to 50% of their profit in April 2016. As Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev emphasized then, at the expense of such a measure, an additional 100 billion rubles may enter the budget.
In November, the head of the Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov said that in 2017, there will be no exceptions to the regulation on the budget of 50% of the profit of state -owned companies.
The government resolution also affected Gazprom, Alrosa, Bashneft, Zarubezhneft, RusHydro, Sovcomflot, Transneft and Rosneftegaz.
The head of Rosneft, Igor Sechin, indicated that the Rosneft dividend policy approved by the government provides for payments to shareholders of 35% of profit. In December, Medvedev instructed to work out the issue of raising the dividends of Rosneft.
