On January 22, the premiere of the new film by journalist Hyo Zeppelt on doping in Russian sports is planned on the German television channel. This was reported by the portal Skirun.ru.

The film is based on an interview with the Russian runner, the winner of the 2015 team championship in 1500 m running, Andrei Dmitriev. “The interview took place on the initiative of the German side. I thought for a long time, but still agreed. It passed in the city of Almaty. The film will be very gloomy for us,” the athlete said.

Dmitriev does not consider to be traitors to informants of the World Anti -Doping Agency Julia and Vitaly Stepanov. “I believe that they launched a process that will ultimately cleanse athletics in our country, and then all the sport around the world,” the runner noted.

Dmitriev also believes that "the national team really has pure athletes and they should be able to perform at international tournaments as soon as possible as a neutral athlete."

At the same time, Dmitriev called the “hypocrisy” to the games to the games of the 2016 Olympics of 2016 row of Russian athletes mentioned in the letters of the former head of the Moscow anti -doping laboratory Grigory Rodchenkov.

In December 2014, the ARD television channel released the first documentary , in which Zeppelt spoke about the systematic use of doping by Russian athletes.
