The Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the Novgorod Region began a pre-investigation check of the incident involving traffic police officers, who, in advance, broke an expensive prosthetic arm for the driver of the car.

“Currently, a set of measures is being taken to establish all the circumstances of the incident, including the identification of police officers and the injured man, measures are being taken to establish the severity of the harm caused to the health of the victim, eyewitnesses of the incident are being interviewed,” the press service of the Investigative Department said. committee.

Earlier, a video was published on the Internet, which shows how traffic police officers stop a car on one of the streets of Novgorod. There was a young man behind the wheel, who refused the offer to get out of the car and get into the patrol car.

Then the traffic police officers used force against him, as a result of which they broke an expensive prosthetic arm. The young man fell to the snow, but the police continued to drag him to their car.
