The court rejected Navalny's complaint against the Investigative Committee

On January 20, the Basmanny Court of Moscow dismissed Alexei Navalny's complaint against the actions of officials of the Investigative Committee who refused to initiate a criminal case against employees of the Investigative Committee who were monitoring his family. It is reported by TASS.

“At the court session, the submitted materials were studied, including the review of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia. Having considered the submitted materials, the court dismissed Navalny's complaint," said Yunona Tsareva, spokeswoman for the court.

It follows from this response that Navalny’s statement did not contain sufficient data on committed or impending crimes that were within the competence of the IC of the Russian Federation and there were no grounds for conducting an audit, in connection with which the statement was sent to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow to verify the arguments set out.

Navalny insists on initiating a criminal case on the fact of illegal surveillance by law enforcement officers of the relatives of the politician, including minor children, carried out using special technical means.
