
The Senator from the Omsk Region Elena Mizulina filed an application for the exit from the Just Russia party. She wrote about this on her Twitter.
"I made a decision to withdraw from the Fair Russia party. The corresponding application to the regional branch of the SR was sent today," the report said. Information about the exit of Mizulina from the party is also posted on the official website of "Fair Russia".
The press service of the Senator of RBC confirmed that Mizulina is leaving the party, but did not disclose the reasons and details.
According to one of the secretaries of the Presidium of the Central Council of the SR, State Duma deputy Oleg Shein, the position of Mizulina and the party "has long dispersed", and her departure is "good." “Fair Russia” is a secular party, ”Shein said, emphasizing that the leadership of the Socialist Revolutionaries“ has not supported Elena Borisovna’s initiatives for a long time. ”
At the same time, the deputy noted that most likely the initiative of the exit belonged to Mizulina itself and no one excluded her from the party.
Elena Mizulina was appointed to the Council of Council of Omsk in September 2015. Previously, she was a deputy of the State Duma of the second, third and sixth convocations. Until 2001, she was a member of the Yabloko party, until 2003 - the Union of Right Forces, in 2007 joined "Fair Russia".
During the work, the deputy Mizulin introduced more than a hundred bills to the State Duma. The deputy opposed the promotion of homosexuality, abortion, adoption of Russian children by US citizens, surrogate motherhood. In addition, Mizulina initiated the bill on the ban on the bebi boxes in Russia.
