The Internet project "Worlds Gorenstein" opened

The Radio Liberty radio station launched the Internet project "Worlds Gorenstein" dedicated to the prose writer, playwright, scriptwriter Friedrich Gorenstein (1932-2002).

In the section “Worlds of Gorenstein” , the writer’s biography, memories of him, his novels, plays, interviews, photographs, films scripts, literary criticism are published on the Radio Liberty website.

The project was created and conducted by journalist Yuri Veksler, also among the authors of the project Inna Borisova, Ivan Tolstoy, Dmitry Volchek, Andrey Shary, Elena Rykovtseva.

Friedrich Gorenstein wrote scripts for 17 films, five of which were implemented, including Solyaris (1972) Andrei Tarkovsky and “Slave of Love” (1975) by Nikita Mikhalkov, from his literary and dramatic works in the USSR only one story was published. Since 1978 he was published abroad, in 1979 he participated in the Almanac "Metropol", in 1980 he emigrated from the USSR, lived in Germany.
