Sberbank and his head German Gref became defendants in the case of raider seizure. According to Vedomosti, a lawsuit against the Southern District of New York filed a registered PPF Management Delaware.
A lawsuit with the requirements to reimburse $ 500 million and $ 250 million of moral damage for the loss of control over a large enterprise for the extraction of crushed stone, Pavlovsk Stragor, was filed on November 22. Also, the defendants were Sberbank Capital and its general director Ashot Khachaturyantz, NEO Center and his vice president Oleg Gref, co-owner of the national non-war company Yuri Zhukov and several more legal and individuals.
Until the end of 2009, Sergey Pokimanov was the largest owner of Pavlovsk Ghost. The company was lended to Sberbank and failed to pay off debts. Plaimanov lost his property, after which he repeatedly tried to challenge this in Russian courts, but to no avail. As a result of the right to claim, he rebuilt PPF Management.
The lawsuit claims that the defendants entered into a criminal conspiracy to raider the capture of "Pavlovsk border." In 2008, Sberbank issued a loan of 5.1 billion rubles to catch a partner’s share. Then the Pavlovsk Ghormit was estimated at 13.4 billion rubles, Sberbank ordered Sberbank from NEO Center. Poimanov also gave a personal guarantee.
In July 2009, the company Skimanova could not serve the debt. And in November, Sberbank wanted to refinance it at a rate of 14.9 percent per annum. In this case, the transaction was the sale of 51 percent of the Pavlovsk Ghratite "Sberbank Capital" for 1 million rubles. Poimanov received an option to redeem this package for 350 million rubles. He did not agree to these conditions and in March 2010 Sberbank demanded the repayment of the remaining amount of the debt - 4.5 billion rubles.
In early 2010, Zhukov proposed to catch the assets with NNA. Poimanov refused the transaction, and Sberbank transferred all the rights of debt claim to Sberbank Capital. The latter sold the shares in Pavlovsk Ghost from the hammer.
According to the lawsuit, the buyers were affiliated with NNA Zhukov. PPF believes that it was a planned raider attack. The plaintiff claims that documents on the sale of shares of Zhukov’s offshore appeared earlier than the auctions themselves took place.
The issue indicates that since May 2010, a “bullying and intimidation campaign” was organized against Poimanov, as well as several administrative and criminal proceedings on suspicion of deliberate bankruptcy of Pavlovsk Stragorite. The first hearing in the claim will be held on April 20.
Gref himself in the commentary of RIA Novosti called the filed lawsuit “a typical fraudulent act” . “This is a typical fraudulent act. Our banking is connected with the fact that we should strictly defend our interests in some stories,” the head of Sberbank added.
