
The authorities of the Russian Federation plan to send 500 million rubles for the arrangement of parks and squares in the country. This was stated by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at the Presidium of the Council for Strategic Development and Priority Projects. It is quoted by the government website.
The prime minister recalled that the Russian authorities promised to deal with the problem of improvement and the formation of a comfortable urban environment at the very basic level, this topic was indicated in the Presidential Epistle. Medvedev noted that it was previously decided to increase funds from the federal budget for the project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" from 5 to 20 billion rubles. “Another half a billion is intended for the improvement of parks and squares,” he said.

According to Medvedev, it is important that residents themselves can influence the choice of improvement options and control the quality of work. "Our common goal for about five years as a whole is to bring the public spaces of Russian cities to a decent species," the Prime Minister said.
"People can be different in people, including aesthetic, but most importantly, that we get a modern barrier -in -screech infrastructure with a thoughtful design," he said.
Medvedev drew attention to the fact that the federal co -financing of the project is not yet provided for all regions. Regions with a high level of budgetary security have not yet been included in this program.
