A resident of Samara was detained in a case of inciting hatred for posts on the Internet. This was reported on January 24 by a number of publications. In particular, the REGNUM news agency, citing the press service of the regional investigation department of the Investigative Committee, reports that the detainee is suspected of “from February 2014 to April 2016 on his personal website posting materials in which, according to the act of the expert research contains linguistic and psychological signs, statements aimed at inciting hatred, hostility, as well as humiliating the dignity of a group of people on the basis of race, nationality and belonging to a social group.
It is also known that the detainee, born in 1987, was previously convicted "for a similar crime." No details about the content of his publications are given. A number of regional publications, in particular, "63.ru", with reference to the press service of the regional police department, reports that the suspect "expressed the ideas of National Socialism."
