Bashkir activist won the court at the Ministry of Internal Affairs

On January 25, it became known that the activist Radik Enikeev, who participated in the Congress of Bashkir social activists in December last year and was detained, won the case in the Supreme Court of the Republic of Bashkortostan under the lawsuit of the local Ministry of Internal Affairs. Enikeev was accused of organizing an inconsistent event. This is reported by Proufu.ru

On December 10, in Ufa, the “Congress of Bashkir Social Condenses” was held, which was organized by BOO “Bashkort”, which is the activist of Radik Yenikeev. On December 20, police detained Yenikeev and brought him to the police department for subsequent delivery to the court. According to police officers, on December 12, a protocol was drawn up at Enikeev on violation of the rules of organization and public events (Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). On the same day, the Kirovsky District Court of Ufa refused to find Enikeev guilty due to the lack of an event of an offense. Police officers in the process could not explain what a public event was, and the protocols were compiled with numerous violations.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs decided to appeal the court decision and on January 25, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Bashkortostan confirmed the acquittal of the district court.

Police officers insisted on the guilt of Radik Enikeev in connection with the fact that he allegedly pronounced some “political statements”. In the trial, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, after watching a video of the collection of activists, tried to retrain the charges of participating in an inconsistent event, but the court did not accept the prosecution arguments.

In addition to Radik Enikeev, during the congress on December 10, BOOO Bashkort, Ruslan Gappasov and Faily Alchinov, were detained . Later they were released without charges.
