Lawyer Nikolai Polozov was detained in Crimea

In Crimea, the FSB was detained by lawyer Nikolai Polozov, representing in different matters the interests of prominent figures of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people. This was written on Twitter, journalist Anton Naumluk.

According to Naumlyuk, Polozova is being taken to the FSB department for interrogation in the case of the Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis Ilmi Umarov, whose defender is Polozov.

The fact that Polozov was attracted as a witness in the case of his own client, it became known on December 13, when the Kiev District Court of Simferopol satisfied the relevant petition of the FSB investigator. The lawyer was previously threatened by the drive for interrogation.

Umarov is accused of calling for violation of the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation.
