The governor accused the mayor of Omsk of inaction

Governor Viktor Nazarov continued his public criticism of Omsk Mayor Vyacheslav Dvorakovsky. He stated that the problems of the city will have to deal with the regional government.

Nazarov expected that Dvorakovsky would report on the Omsk gas supply scheme at the investment council on January 25. However, the mayor could not come, sending instead the head of the economic policy department, Olga Parfyonova. The administration, according to the governor, has not complied with the recommendations for developing the scheme.

“From the mayor's answer, I conclude that the city does not want to develop anymore. He has enough of the state in which he is now, - quotes Nazarov "Omsk Here". “Apparently, the regional government will again have to deal with the development of the city.”

The chief federal inspector for the Omsk region, Sergei Litskevich, asked Nazarov to instruct his deputies to meet with Dvorakovsky "immediately." They should receive explanations from the head of the city, Litskevich said.

The powers of Dvorakovsky ("United Russia") expire in 2017. Omsk residents will not be able to vote for the next mayor on their own, because the region has canceled direct elections of heads on the initiative of the governor himself.
