Kurbedinova’s phone instantly turns out to be “outside the access zone”. Eden Semedlyaev also does not pick up the phone.

An hour later, Anna Bogacheva, a friend of Kurbedinova, reports that he was delivered to the ED center in Simferopol. “They are accused of spreading extremist materials. The court to choose a preventive measure is scheduled for today, ”she writes.

Information comes from Semedlyaev’s colleagues: he is beyond suspicion, but searches are being held in his office.

At the same time, there are reports on the FSB special operation to liquidate the cells of the prohibited organization Hizb Ut-Tairer in the Crimea of ​​the FSB special operation. Three hours after the detention of Kurbedinov, his lawyer Jamil Temyshev comes in touch.

In total, according to Novaya Gazeta, during the “FSB special operation to eliminate the cell of the prohibited organization“ Hizb Ut-Tahrir ”, two people were detained: Emil Kurbedinov and the Bakhchisarai civilian activist Seyran Saliev, to whom he was traveling to the meeting. Saliev at the time of signing the number was in the Department of Internal Affairs of the Bakhchisarai district. What accusations were brought to him is still unknown.

Questions to the investigation in connection with the detention of a lawyer Kurbedinov also arise because the FSB tried to detain his colleague Nikolai Polozova on the eve of Simferopol.

As it turned out, the special services wanted to interrogate Polozov as a witness in a criminal case against the deputy chairman of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people (prohibited in the Russian Federation) Ilmi Umarov, who is accused of violation of the territorial integrity of Russia, namely, to the return of Crimea to Ukraine. Polozov is a lawyer Umerov on this case. Obtaining the status of a witness, the lawyer emphasizes, will deprive him of the opportunity to defend Umerov in court. He refused to testify.

Kurbedinov and Polozov are known on the peninsula to work on "political" criminal cases. So, Emil Kurbedinov is a lawyer of the four defendants in the Hizb Ut-Tahrir case, as well as the accused of separatism of the Crimean journalist Nikolai Semena. Nikolai Polozov acts as a defender of the deputy chairman of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people of Akhtem Chiygoz, banned in Russia. The latter is accused of organizing the riots of the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea in February 2014, when supporters of Russia and Ukraine faced the building of the current State Council.
