In the Tverskoy Court of Moscow, bailiffs beat up a lawyer
On January 25, after the end of the trial in the case of the “Army of the Will of the People”, a conflict arose between the bailiffs of the Tverskoy court and the lawyer of one of the defendants, Alexei Sukhanov, during which the defender was hit with his head on the safe. The lawyer was taken to the hospital with a concussion. This was reported by activist Elena Rokhlina on her Vkontakte page.
The lawyer was attacked and hit with his head against a safe in the courthouse after Sukhanov tried to stand up for activist Yelena Rokhlina when she was "grabbed by bailiffs" and started throwing things out of her bag. The bailiffs believed that the activist had no right to describe the ongoing events and upload photos to social networks.
The next hearing in the case will take place on February 7 at 14:00.
According to the investigation, Alexander Sokolov, Valery Parfenov, Kirill Barabash and Yuri Mukhin, under the guise of preparing a referendum, as part of the activities of the initiative group For Responsible Power, actually carried out the activities of the banned organization Army of the Will of the People. The organization was banned for a leaflet that called for evaluating the work of the authorities in referendums.
