The collection of the Sujuation of Artists of the USSR is going to be transferred to the state

According to the newspaper The Art Newspaper Russia, a collection of painting, collected over the years of the Union of Artists of the USSR, will be transferred to state ownership.

This ART Newspaper Russia reports with reference to sources in the International Confederation of Unions of Artists (ISSC) - a successor to the Union of Artists of the USSR, which currently owns the collection.

The ISSC confirmed that the fate of the collection is now actively discussed, and the decision on its transfer was preceded by a search of the head of the ISSH Masuta Fatkulin.

It is also reported that the building of the Central House of Artists (CDH) on the Crimean Val in Moscow can completely move to the State Tretyakov Gallery (GTG).

Neither Masut Fatkulin, nor the director of the Central House of Sciences Vasily Bychkov has yet commented on the situation.
