Bashneft, whose main shareholder last fall, was Rosneft, filed a lawsuit against Transneft in the Arbitration Court, TASS reports. According to the source in court, the lawsuit was filed as part of the proceedings on the terms of oil transportation.
“The lawsuit is related to the conditions of oil transportation,” the agency’s interlocutor said, adding that claims are similar to Rosneft's claims to Transneft.
The official representative of Transneft, Igor Demin, told TASS that Bashneft, like Rosneft, did not conclude an oil transportation agreement. Therefore, he added, with a high degree of probability, it can be assumed that the Bashneft claim is similar to the complaint that Rosneft filed to Transneft this week, and is related to claims to conclude the contract.
“Our statement about the far -fetched measures is obvious, now - there is no contract, pumping is going on,” the company representative emphasized. Earlier, the Arbitration Court forbade Transneft to terminate Rosneft's oil transportation. Such a decision was made as a security measure to dispute companies about the price of oil transportation. The pipeline company threatened to stop the service of oil, since the latter has not yet entered into an agreement with it for 2017.
The court clarified that Rosneft should file a lawsuit with the requirements for Transneft no later than January 25, 2017, otherwise the interim measures imposed by the court will be removed.
As a counterclaim, Rosneft guaranteed the payment of the services rendered at the price established by the terms of the non -concluded agreement N0017016 on the provision of oil transportation services for 2017 with a protocol of disagreements, in which there are no disagreements between the parties. "
The same Igor Demin then said that the company considers the court’s decision illegal and will appeal it. At the same time, according to him, we are not talking about the suspension of transportation.
Earlier, the Moscow Arbitration Court adopted for the consideration of the Rosneft claim to Transneft, filed on January 24 as part of a trial on the conditions of oil transportation. The meeting in the case will be held on March 3.
There have been disagreements between the companies for several years about the advisability of developing a technique for accounting for technological oil losses at the actual level and the procedure for compensation for oil consignors. Transneft proposed to sign the sent contract, indicating that "in case of untimely signing of the agreements for 2017," Transneft "has the right to refuse Rosneft to provide services in January 2017."
Rosneft, for its part, indicated that the absence between the parties of the contract for the provision of oil transportation services for 2017, as well as the possible refusal of Transneft to pump oil "Rosneft" can lead to a stop of Rosneft's activities, since the transneft PJSC transnefta is ensured daily to the transportation system. 1.3 million tons of oil under an agreement.
"Oil from deposits is supplied to customers in the domestic market and export, oil refineries for the production of oil products, including automobile fuel and aviation kerosene. Oil tanks at fields will not allow oil storage for more than 72 hours," Rosneft motivated their position.
